My viewport, half is missing! Help!

Hi!
I'm using Maya 8.5, I have a macbook with windows vista. I've just installed the program and I have a irritating problem. When I'm in singel viewport (big screen) I can only see half the viewport, the rest is grey, blocked. When I turn to top/side/front/persp view I can see more but not everything.

Is this because of macbooks graphic card or is it because I only have 1 gb RAM? Or should I get another version of Maya?

Please help!

It's a graphics card problem. I've seen this problem a few times, and a new (better) gfx card fixes it.

Can't you just set up a 'boot camp' and have the best of both worlds?

Yeah with bootcamp you can run Mac OSX and Windows (which would bet the case here) but again if it was me I would just run OSX with OSX software since you paid the premium for the Mac, otherwise just get a PC...

Lindy, have you tried updating the graphics card drivers?
