Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

New community for 3d professionals

Hi all,

I hope this of interest, i have just launched a new site last with the aim of creating a new community edited wiki-like site.

It's called Square Polygon and the idea is to create a community edited resource for all questions and answers related to 3d modelling (much in the same way that 'stackoverflow' has for programming).. This can be anything from modelling, character rigging to architectural visualisation, rendering, plugins and careers, as long as there is an answer!

The most relevant questions and answers are voted to the top (digg style) which means they are always easy to find, and as you earn reputation on Square Polygon users gain the ability to edit other peoples posts, tags and more, just like a wiki...

There are already quite a few questions on the site including a few unanswered Maya ones (it would be great if anyone here knows the answers?!)

Any comments / ideas for improvement ? What would make you get involved?

Thanks,
Tom.
