Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Problem with edges/verticies

Whenever I select one edge, the edge directly opposite is highlighted in white and moves along with the other edge, seen here. I used to know how to get rid of this pesky little problem, but I've long since forgotten. Anyone know how to get these edges "separate"?

Thanks,

Hunt

it could be a tool reflection problem

go to modify-> transformation tool -> move tool (option box) then try and find something called reflection then tik it off and also tik off the soft selection

hope this helps

cheers
