maya 2010/2011 on same machine

Anyone able or know how to do this?

my school has only 2010. and 2011 files do not work well at school. I have both 2010 and 2011 at home, but can only use 2010 for school projects while I want to be able to use 2011 for personal.

thanks

You can have two installs sure. It shouldn't be a problem to install both at once. Post any issues you encounter.

Will be fine, also you can open a file that is created in a different version, as long as the 'Ignore version' setting is turned on.

Also saving files in .ma(ascii) format helps file version headaches.

cheers,
Chris
