This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
This is the beginnings of a character i am making to use in my final year project at uni. Not too sure where its going. Things will change but i just thought it'd be nice to have some feedback and suggestions.
The ears certainly need adjusting for a start...just noticed that lol
anyway here goes...
Great start bud...The only area you should take a look at is under his nose its really square where the nostrils are. Bring down the middle part and the side of the nostrils...
Good stuff....
I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination, knowledge is limited, imagination encircles the world. (Albert Einstein)
I like it. The style is pretty neat. Only thing I can see from the pic is under the nostrils there appears to be a ridge there. Now where is the body? LOL
Cheers guys I see exactly what u mean - hey at least I can say one thing about his nose...Its better than Michael Jackson's
wchamlet - i do tend to become over indulgent with heads before i start the bodies, its a bad habit of mine heheh but i will do it - promise lol
Anyway here is an update - I have practically rebuilt the nose and restyled the ears a little. Oh and ive added some proper eyes. The shading is just a temporary thing.
Hey, that looks great. I like the hard edges you have in your character. It's not like most cartooned characters, which are mostly smooth. I think your style for this head works great. Only thing I see now is the seem on the chin.
You're not alone when you say you model the heads first. I do the same thing usually since heads are the hardest thing to model. If you don't have a good face, there's no use building a body I say. Good job on what you've done so far. Is this one polygons or nurbs? Wait, wait. Let me guess...... polys?
