Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Bind Pose

Hi,

is there anyway to change or edit the bindpose of a character, without detaching the rig?

If I understand your question and can remember correctly, there should be a marking menu by RMB on the root joint I think. It should have an option Go to bind pose as well as set bind pose, which is what you want.

Ok, I got the name wrong, it's "Set Preferred Angle" and "Assume Preferred Angle" (set and go to bind pose, respectively, I believe). If that's not what you're looking for, sorry, I'm not a pro in rigging at this point.
