Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
I was wondering if there is an option which seperates the extrude operation when you have multiple faces selected in Maya 2012. You could toggle this behaviour in Maya 2011 by clicking on Edit Mesh > Keep Faces together, but this option isn’t available anymore in Maya 2012. I need this to work efficiently, so I would really appreciate it if somebody could tell me how to get to it in Maya 2012.
As it turned out, I had the wrong menu set collected. I feel kind of stupid now, but at least I’ll know what to do next time I don’t find a menu in Maya.
