Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Problem exporting model to FBX

Hi all,

I am trying to export a model to FBX.
It has 2 Lambert shades, but I only need one, so I deleted Lambert2. But if I try to import this fbx the lambert is back again.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance
Nico

Does your model have the one lambert assigned to all of the surfaces?

Post a screen grab of your fbx exporting setup.

Also try renameing your transform2 to something more unique. Maya does allow for same naming of objects and dag nodes but I believe Unity likes everything to be unique.
