So reworking my model Ive already unwrapped the head and pieced it back together and got it into a circular UV map is this ok or should I have made it lay out horizontally? The texturing i'm going to do is in mudbox so i don't know if its going to matter as much.
I would cut were the red line is also cut the teeth out as they are you will not get a lot of detail on them, did a little scetch what they should look like hope you do better than mine.........dave
You cannot sew the wholes together just leave them open, try to keep the seams for the teeth at the back so you dont see them I know you are taking it into mudbox but it is good practice..............dave
personally I think the important uv areas such as the main facial features are too small to paint good details onto. Your exterior uvs are too big...put a map on it lets have a look
yea it seems to do that whenever I use the auto move tool in the UV editor. i'm getting some stuff moved around where the teeth were when i get it in place i'll post it up again.
