Hey y'all I gots yet another question. I'm working in Maya 2008 (still) and whenever I create a pattern such as fractal, it's place2dTexture node connection is broken and isn't connected with it. Is there any way to fix this?
There's a checkbox in hypershade to toggle creating texture placement nodes automatically with textures, you may have accidentally unchecked it. I think its Create>Create Options> include placement with textures.
