create camera from perspective view? like max?

Hi

I want to create a camera from the perspective view, same angle etc

I know I can copy the persp camera node, but how can I then make it visible in the viewport?

If Im right in translateing your question, simply go to Panel >perspective> 'choose the duplicate camera'

In Maya-2015 it is "New" under Panels -> Perspective

I don't know about previous versions but in Maya 2015 adjust your perspective view (or any view), then go to Panels -> Perspective -> New. New camera is added. user added image

Yeah thats been in every version of Maya..As far back as 2.5 when I started using it
