Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Rendering Error Msg

Hi,

While I am trying to start rendering, after I establish all render globals in 'batch rendering', I get an error msg in the script editor which reads:

"error.. cannot create render log file".

Can anyone advise why this may be happening?
I am a bit of a newbie to this.

Thanks.

Hi,

If you mean my Hard Drive there is plenty of free space. In terms of permissions, I am the only user on the PC and have full adminstrator access.

Thanks.

Never ran in to this error so I'm just guessing. You could try to create an empty text file called mayaRenderLog.txt in your My Documents\maya folder...
