Maya layered texture and openGL

Hi people,

I am totally new with Maya Software, so pls help. I created texture (maya soft 2012) and applied it on polygon. I exported the one as .obj. Then via Obj Loader i imported it into my open GL project. The problem i have is that my model is visible in project but all of the textures are not. The textures are really simple, images are not big, for example grass terrain on polygon etc. I tried many options in my c# code, starting from checking where do i initialize and call texture, enabling/disabling, ids, parameters etc. My question is, is there any option in Maya software i should have done for example to check/uncheck something? My renderer tab has maya software option choosen? Does this have something to do with texture later when exported...Any ideas? If the question is funny user added image be free and laugh...

Awaiting any help.

Regards

As far as I know, obj files don't carry texture info. You'll have to import the texture separately into your openGL project, although I'm not familiar with that side of things, so I can't give you details.

Not sure a maya textured layer shader would be exportable in any format but maya,s, you could bake the texture.............dave
