trouble with blendshapes...

I've just rigged up a character with a skeleton and binded the geometry with a smooth bind. I had already done the blendshapes for facial expressions. I also did some SDK on the teeth for when the mouth opens. Everything was working pretty good until after all the weights were painted and the eyes and teeth got parented to the head joint, I tried to use my blendshapes and the ones for the mouth make the teeth shoot straight out the top of my characters head! I don't know how to fix this problem on my own and I've spent alot of time on this project. If someone could please help... and oh yeah, please keep it simple. This is the "newbie lounge" after all. Thanks.
