Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Wet surface in maya Mental Ray

How to make a wet looking surface in Maya Mental ray.

I am using a blinn shader and also make reflection map with bump map but still didn't get the result yet...

Here i have attached two images below something that i have tried but didn't get the look and feel like you can see in that real image below

I want something from Dry to wet like some moisture on surface....my Result is very wet right now.

Is there i also need Refraction in the blinn settings.

Thanks

Try plugging a specular map into the spec colour...................dave

Edit:I dont know what I was talking about, use the reflectivity but make the less glossy areas darker in the map
