Im with Jay, that is actually a very good model to learn texturing on, very simple and not too many materials...have a go at it.

Indeed, this would be a great project to practice texturing and since you've modeled it yourself, you're more likely to learn more about that as well because I noticed that the porch support and steps seem to be extruded from the deck. This could create unnecessary hassle when laying out UVs or enhancing the models with beveled edges or smaller details. Also the roof seems paper thin, not sure about that.


What part of texturing are you stuck on?

It's also not in Maya user added image

got the file in maya but took that picture in c4d @nextdesign user added image

modeled most of it in maya but parts of it in c4d so..

and ya i might have a try then user added image thanks for the replies!
