mia x + misss fast

Hello,

i am trying to add some 'skin element' to my mia material with misss fast shader. But after i plugged the fast shader into the additonal color of mia, it crashed when i hit render..

Some kind of bug? how do i fix that?

I dont think you can plug misss shader into a mia shader...............dave

What fast sss shader type are you using? What attributes did you connect?

The mia shader allows for accurate BRDF. You need to plug the sss shader into the additional color slot of the mia shader. Just keep in mind the whole idea of scale and how the scatter is tied to it. The reason the color is "blown out" is because the mia shader needs to have its diffuse set to 0 otherwise it is doubling. The sss also works much better in a linear setting. Hope that helps....
