This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
I would like to show you my personal project i am working on nowadays.
Rightnow i am doing modeling of my Exterior Assets. I am creating an Environment of a big farm field with a house in the middle this is some what an exterior idea.
Taking that in mind that i have 8 gb of ram and onboard intel graphic .I will try not to fill my shots with million of polys O.O and go out of memory at the time of rendering in mental ray O.O
Here are some Renders of Modeling Done in Autodesk Maya.
Looking good so far, I would have done a lot more with textures on the house if I was conserned about my graphics card but saying that you can always transfere maps if that becomes a issue...................dave
That rocking chair looks really uncomfortable... haha, cool. The piano is sweet. I wonder if you can put a neutral backdrop behind the models that doesn't cast shadows. I find the physical sun/sky background kind of distracting.
Ha thanks stwert next time i will post with black bg. and i am planing to do some changes in chair too giving some more support on the back side.
Here some info behind my modeling.
I am modeling the interior according to a guy who lives in this house who is tough and weird i want to create scary feeling in the shot.
Not black... the light grey of the base plane is good. Sorry, I'm sounding really particular, I just think it might showcase your great modelling better. It'll receive the shadows, I don't know if I was being confusing with the cast shadows thing.
