Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Problem bridging between a duplicate object

Hi there,

Wondering if anyone can help me with this probably very simply problem.

As per the image attached, I have created a duplicate of a rectangular object, set Scale X to -1 to flip it around, removed the opposing faces and attempted to bridge these to create a solid polygonal object.

The result is badly skewed - it seems that the axis of the duplicate object may be confusing the bridge. I have tried deleting history and freezing transformations - no effect.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan
