Frustrating Stupid problem
I have a problem. I am using a rig from creative crash and it is one for the heavy.

I was simply just practicing animating a walk. I managed this fine and all is great regarding that, however I dragged in another rig(exactly the same one but just now have 2) and I cant delete it. It is really annoying me but every time I try to delete it just gets rid of the rig and keeps the character who I cant select or anything.
Im sure this is an easy problem to solve but I cant so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit:did maya create a layer for the imported file?
