Metal shader or texture

Hi,

I have been trying to re-create this ring:

But I just cannot seem to get the metal on the ring right… I don't know whether I should be using a Mia shader or to use a texture…

Can anyone help me out or have any suggestions?

Looks like a mia_mat with highly blurred reflections would simulate that. But of course you'd have to have some kind of environment and in this case it's the typical white box in which jewelry shots are usually taken.

Settings on what? The renderer? The Lights? The metal shader? There are quite a few things involved. Can you show what you have so far?
