This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Lost my grid/object in perspective view

I was making a train model in perspective view and I clicked something and now its just blue and I cannot find the grid anymore with my model on it!!!user added image

Okay, that's just the normal background so your object should be hiding somewhere. Try pressing the f key on the keyboard to frame all your geometry. If that doesn't work go to your outliner (window>outliner) and make sure that your geometry still exists and that you haven't somehow deleted it.
