SSS / translucency diffrence?
So i've started to work with Arnold and came across the sub-surface scatter surface in the skin shader, and since i've been working with leaves etc i've also come across the translucency option ... so basically, im wondering, whats the difference between translucency / SSS?
I know in Arnold SSS has 3 diffrent layers, and thats the only difference i can find (translucency has only 1 layer as far as i've seen in my shader options)
