This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
Posted this in finished work before, sorry. Perhaps you might delete it from there- I'm new is my only excuse. I just wanted to say thanks very much for the Tiefighter Interceptor tutorial; it was really well made and I learnt some rather interesting things from it. I am a bit of a Maya N00b and have only made things for game mods before. This forum is a little goldmine of good ideas and inspiring work. As for me well things can only get better.
Two pics to post, a WIP composite shot and a test render prior to texturing.
I am now branching off to try and create a Walker model (no idea why the Star Wars theme but it seemed as good as any) and will post some WIP shows in the right place if they are not too shame inducing.
Thats coming along great cant wait to see it textured
From a readers' Q and A column in TV GUIDE: "If we get involved in a nuclear war, would the electromagnetic pulses from exploding bombs damage my videotapes?"
Thanks, will do. In the meantime I have a AT-ST Walker on the go as well- these are quick renders of the finished supporting frame minus cabin (material is just there to facilitate the screenshot).
