Lightbox with Logo

Hello, Im not really a pro using maya so I have some questions.

I am trying to achieve a lightbox with a logo texture on it with a logo that would look clear and defined. Meaning the light or glow from the box needs to be blocked by the logo before coming out of the box. I have attached an example of the best I could do but the logo still seem to be eaten by the light at some point.

The left cube = Color + Glow
The right cube = Color + Ambient Color Map + Glow

Thanks in advance!

One way, maybe not the best way, would be to ignore the glow and use the incandescence attribute (plus final gather). You can plug a texture map into incandescence so that the logo parts are black and the rest is white.
