How would you implement this fancy scene?

I should add that I am a software engineer, with 25 years experience. Took a graduate-level class of Computer Graphics in college. I am familiar with 3D transforms.

Perhaps the hired artist can work on some stuff and I can do some programming?

TIA

From a readers' Q and A column in TV GUIDE: "If we get involved in a nuclear war, would the electromagnetic pulses from exploding bombs damage my videotapes?"

The video you posted can easily be done with bullet physics

Thanks, David!

What is the total number of applications and plugins that I will need?

I am assuming:

- Maya
- Bullet Physics (open source? proprietary?)
- Soap

Is that correct? Can you (or any expert out there) explain the relationship between those different software parts?

TIA
