Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Change A-pose into T-pose for HumanIK

Hi,
I import ready character models and most of these are in A-pose, not in T-pose, this is the case for both the free and paid models.
I would like to use the HumanIK in Maya to quickly rig the imported character and move on to animation.
My problem is: HumanIK requires T-pose while the majority of character models are available in A-pose. How do I solve this?
How do I change the A-pose to a T-pose of an imported model? When I try to do that the model is messed up. I'm very very new to maya. Please point me in the right direction? Thanks

only solution that i can see is re-model the arm and leg joints to orientate the model into a T pose

cheers Myth
