Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.
Also it might be texture filtering thats doing this. How do I adjusting filter up when I get further away from the camera.
Certain textures will behave poorly in supersampling situations bacause the veriance is just too alternating so you could get a completely differently colored pixel form frame to frame depending on where the actual sample might happen to fall. This might be thr problem. This happens in LightWave.
