July Challenge - DrKnow - Noobie

I have gotta do this, even though I do not know how to do organic shapes. I am thinking I will do a monkey. Monkeys are the best. It will wear full body armor and fling poo at high speeds. That is my idea.

Hey. Ok. I am starting this thing. It is so hard to find a good reference pic of a monkey. Does anybody know where to find a picture of a bald monkey. That would be great. I think that is the oddest question I have ever asked.

In ape terms bonobos often have less hair than chimps so you could try searching for pictures of them (they are in the same family as chimps but smaller and share 98% of our genetic code).

Depends whather you want to model a monkey or an ape though as they aren't the same.

Witchy - Thanks. I added that to my list of refs. It is pretty hard to model a monkey head, at least for me.

Eagle - HEHEHE!!!!!!!!

Adl - Get 'em.

Strarup - Thanks for trying, man. I am afraid to type in "bald monkey" in google images. Who knows what may come up...

Thanks to everyone for their wonderful replies user added image

I just put in a few minutes on the head, and I am a little disappointed. I just started it, so dont be surprised by the horrible shape. I started with a sphere, so the back of the head and neck are way too round.
