Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Toonshade problem

Hi guys.

Wonder if you can help me on this one.
I'm working on a 3 D nurbs model that is supposed to work like 2D outline animation, so I used "Toonshade".
Problem is, inspite using high level antialiasing that works perfectly in single geometry, (like the legs, arms, masktail and hat), wherever I use "Toonshade" the outline looks jagged, no matter what settings I use in "stroke Quality".

Hope you guys can help me, 'cause I'm running short of walls... user added image

Thanks a lot

have you looked into vector rendering? I've not messed with it myself, but I think that might be what you want to use.
