This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

render background color

Is there anyway to change the background color of the renders done in maya? I think I remember somone saying there is a way but I dont recall how to do it.

Select your camera and go to the Attibute editor. Open the "Environment" tab and change the background color.

That should do it.
