Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

M2 Bradley _ demo model_WIP

Here is a new model I started last week for my demo reel. I am modeling an M2 Bradley. I went out and bought a nice scale model of it at the local hobby store and have been modeling it riviot by rivot. It's working out great because I was able to scan in a good front, top and side view from the modeling sheets. I am using Maya 5 polys. Comments and crits appreciated.

thanks,
Kassun

Looking good. Love the interior (didn't bother with that on my M1A1).

Nice! Is it the Tamyia kit you are using? If so you might want to note that their floor armour is a little thin compared to the real thing. If it's the Academy kit they have the armour in better proportion and slightly better side skirts imho. Look forward to updates.

thanks for the feed back guys. I am using the Academy kit. Here is an update on the interior. A few more hours of adding detail and a few pieces and the interior will be finished.

Great detail. Not always the easiest to get reference material on.

A good kit is essential when doing that kind of work, as there are essentially no good ref pics. Great work, like the details.
