Pole Vector moving whole foot
Alrighty. Read my book, read some tutorials, am about to pull out what hair I have left (no, Witch, I'm not already bald, you mean thing).
First off, I am using Maya 5.0 Unlimited and am trying to rig up my monkey for the challenge.
Steps I did:
* Make all my IKs.
* Group my IKs (toe to self, toe pivot to mid-foot, mid-foot pivot to ankle)
* Create Locator, center on knee, freeze transformations. Repeat for other leg
* select locator and ankle IK, constrain->pole vector
* when I move the locator, not only does the knee move, but everything from the knee down shifts with it. From what I understand, it's not supposed to do that
Having never dealt with this before, I'm sure there's something I'm missing. Help?
