Paul Thuriot of Tippett Studios, maker of the captivating Carl and Ray Blockbuster® commercials, will present one of its latest special effects projects.
South Bank University will showcase their 'E-PoD' - a single seater electric vehicle with exceptional battery-range, that is currently taking part in the World Solar Challenge - a 3000km trek across the Australian Desert from Darwin in the North along the Stawart Highway to Adelaide in the South.
Leading digital studio, Drive, Inc. will demo one of its latest projects.
Jason Busby, from 3D Buzz, will demo how to make a MOD with Maya® Personal Learning Edition(tm) and Unreal Tournament® to enter into the $1,000,000 Make Something Unreal contest.
Attendees will also get a Maya technology preview with Jill Ramsay, Maya senior product manager along with a demo of the latest Alias® product - Alias® ImageStudio(tm). Corporate event sponsors HP®, Intel® and NVIDIA® will be in attendance and on stage to demonstrate the power of their most advanced hardware and graphics cards.
MasterClasses Focus on Skill Development for Maya and Alias StudioTools
Alias will kick off 3December with three unique Maya® MasterClasses(tm) presentations which will offer attendees intense sessions to build their Maya skill set. This year's sessions are: Advanced Character Pipelines and Tools, with Paul Thuriot, Tippett Studios; Image Based Lighting/mental ray® Custom Shaders, with Christoph Berndt, Alias; and Rigging a Character's Face for Animation, with Roland Reyer, Alias.
Alias is also presenting a design specific MasterClass titled Magic Corners by Uwe Rossbacher, of Alias, specifically for product and auto designers using Alias® StudioTools(tm).
