This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
I am building some models in Maya for a friend. I Have novice Maya modelling experience. I have built a few models for a friend using the CPS modelling method. My friend eventually wants to take these models I have built and make a 3-D Print of them. I have never done this before, so im not even sure if its going to work.
The questions are:
1) Who has experience with 3-D printing Maya models?
2) How does it work?
3) What do I need to know about setting up my models for the 3-D printer?
