Starting Maya 6.5
It only gets to that screen and I have reinstalled it about 10 times. Uninstalled it also.

you can not use the Maya 6.5 of your friend. It's illegal to switch Maya licenses! (You do not own Maya Software, just the right to use it...)
Better think about this.
