Subdivision Caps

Hey guys.

When i try to scale an edge, which i did inside a cylinder polygon (setting Subdivision caps to 2), the whole cylinder form is scaling. I only want to scale the edge ring inside!
What do you think could be the problem!?

Thx in advance...

No, it's not soft selection. It's showing an orange edge, like on the screenshot.

That's very weird. What if you delete the history before you try scaling?

Yeah, that's basically what I meant by deleting history. If you create a new scene and make this same object, do you get the same problem? If you try scaling the inner edge loop before you delete the bottom part of the cylinder (I assume that's what you've done) do you get the same thing?
