Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.
this is just what i end up with after beginning playing around with a sphere and render tests with a hdr image.
first i tried to make it as much realistic as possible but it´s a bit stylised.

i realy would like to do some creamy chocolate thing... don´t know how good maya is with fluids.
adding global illumination to the renderoptions would be nice to try...
still have no experience with gi... and i love tweaking renderoptions and scene setups to get a nice look
hey, i was making a pea shader at work today. It was actually quite fun. its an organic object so you could really put lots of detail in it. It might be a nice exercise to try out.
