ZBrush Scan Data workflow

Well this isn't that hard and you simply go in with trim dynamic or smooth out the edges. I avoid the ears always since they are trouble spots and usually delete excess areas so it is mainly the face. It is very important to line up the base mesh to be identical in area to the scan data so your projections hold. I hope someone finds this helpful.

Yeah it takes forever to sort the program out but it does pay off in the long run. Back when I was sculpting my head with just reference planes it was taking me a fair amount of time. Now I did this head tonight in about a hours time. Took a little longer since my scan was from iphone pics into 123D Catch so when I did the ZProject my face resembled a burn victim. But I guess you get what you pay for. I find it quite efficient and the results decent considering the low cost and accessibility.
