Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Help with Blendshapes

Hi, I am rather new to Autodesk Maya and I am having some trouble with blend shapes.
I have made a head and duplicated it applied my modifications to the duplication etc. But whenever I change the value in the inputs it moves the Master head to where I deleted that modified mesh's value.
Better Example would be I made a modified head called right wink, when I apply the right wink value it moves the master head to grid spot/ position to where I deleted the right wink mesh. Can I get the master head to stay in the one spot whilst I apply values in the input box?

Thanks in Advance.

Did you freeze transformations on the modified head before you applied it as a target? I don't think you're supposed to, if I recall correctly.

Might be best to look up a blend shapes tutorial, as I find it hard to remember the exact steps off the top of my head. My point was that you shouldn't freeze transformations in case that's what you did.
