twist deformation...

I need help. I can't seem to get this prop fin to twist. I want to know how to use the twist deformer to twist this. When I create the twist deformer and change the angles, nothing happens. Why not???

check the axis your deformer is aligned on ..

you more than likely do not have the divisions in the geometry necessary for a twist. This has been mentioned in a few other posts as well.
