This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
OK;
I have decided to show my first scene as I work on it. I have a lot to go (city outside of the dome windows, props, textures, etc..) but I will get there. The hard part is making my imagination reality.
It is definitely a work in progress, and my first 3d scene.
I have been so inspired by this site, and educated I might add!
I hope you enjoy the progression. Any comments are welcome. I am now in my third month of Maya!
Looks quite cool . You seem not to make this 'mistake' with future things, but try see things that we have in houses now, only with a different shape that makes sense. Ooow I can't stand those 'houses of the future' with superweird shapes, an overdosis of light , weird infunctionable gizmo's that don't work and with a home cinema set in the bathroom, with a guy standing next to it saying: This is how we are probarebly going to live in 2030. Don't they see that only usefull stuff wil come on the market... .
Aight, that was my protest against those idiotic firms who claim they know what will be hot in the future :p. It's looking great though :p :bgreen:
I buy that I will be adding some interesting, large-icon based control panels that should help convey the difference, if there is one between the 70's and Space.
