Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Global Illumination being weird

Hi guys, I'm using global illumination for a scene and am getting some odd artifacts. It seems that some of the photons bouncing around are being reflected brighter than others and are creating noticable circles on surfaces. Anyone know how to fix this? I've attached an example.

I'm running Maya 6 with mental ray that came with it.
