This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

well...from the little I've seen, I would probably choose the car modeling DVD. It has more content and maybe it just appeals to me because I am so weak in modeling nonliving things. Pretty close to that, though, would be the organic modeling DVD. I think either of those would probably be the best to try out- once you learn to model humans creatures become a lot easier. good luck on choosing (and the competition user added image )

Well not being baised or anything ( user added image )
Out of the 3 if you can only have one I would have the car modelling
Reasons:
1) its longer so therefore more hands on practice and shows every aspect from conception to final render
2) The techniques can be easily transfered to organic models for example I am currently working on a raptor using the exact techniques taught in the tutorial
3) It also covers some mental ray settings needed for the final render
4) It's mine user added image

hope it helps

It really comes down to what you're more interested in learning. If you like hard surface modeling like cars, tanks and things the car dvd would be a great choice. If you're into characters like me the organic modeling and t-rex would also be a good choice.

It comes down to what you want to learn first.

The reason the organic and t-rex dvds are only 4 hours is because, at the time, they were made to be able to watch on a regular TV so we had to cap the time to about 4 and a half hours.

I have both the T-Rex and the Organic Modeling and they're fantastic. You can't go wrong there!
