Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
I am trying to copying skin weights from one piece of geometry to another and then make slight adjustments, but after I have copied the skin weights and try to paint them not only are the influences affected but also the geometry moves, its like its being smoothed or something.
Does anyone know of a way you can lock the geometry when using this tool?
