Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Measuring one distance from another.

Whats the way to measure one distance from another?

I remember someone mentioning this in another thread a while back, though cant remember user added image

Nevermind, I think i found what i was looking for?

Select Create > Measure Tools > Distance Tool.

thats the one mate...just be careful when you snap as it sometimes doesnt snap to a vert or edge.

Haha yeah. The Hotkey's to make sure are, just incase anyone wanted to know...

X = Snaps to Axis GRID
V = Snaps to Verticles
