rendering Mental and Maya

Anyway to render both? Say I have maya grass textures but other modeling with mental ray textures.
New to maya!

You can convert to polygons or comp out to software like after effects..............dave

I composition this simple test in photoshop to just show how its done, the first pic was modelled using the 3 button to smooth this will not render in maya software so I rendered it in mental Ray, the second pic are paintFX that will not render in mental Ray so I rendered it in maya software both were saved as png file format so they have a alpha channel and comped together in PS pic 3, the forth pic I just converted the paintFX to polygon so I could render both in MR..............dave
