Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Texture Problem

Hi,

I don't know what I did but for some reason every time I place a checker cloth texture or ramp shader it comes out like in the image instead of the normal way it should be, anyone know what I must of pressed or what setting I must of enabled to make this happen? Any info is much appreciated

Thanks

You have the 2D textures set to be created as projections. Open Hypershade. Go to Create>2D Textures, near the bottom of the menu you have the option to set it to "2D Normal".
