This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
I'm using the Cellshader v3.0 Maya plugin (by Provide 3D) which is working fine, but I want to use a basic texture for some of the surfaces. When using the celshader material, textures do not show up in either the persp view or the UV editor (the surface just appears white), which makes it just about impossible to see how the texture is positioned without rendering the frame.
Is there any solution to this, or is there another cel shader plugin that's better than the one I'm using and won't have this problem?
