Looks good. Have a play with the ramp node on that shader, it will do it the world of good. I'll post you image from something I did to show how cool it works, as soon as I can.

...just a question tho....what settings do you use in your render globols ?
but hey...Im also doin' a car right now....have 3 days off so Im working on it 24/7....will post the final render in a couple of days
